improve your skills and boost your confidence with getReady2Race

Are you having trouble taking that first step into Zwift racing? Do you think you are “too slow” to be racing Zwift?

GetReady2Race will get you ready to race Zwift with confidence! Work on your skills with experienced Zwift Yodas and practice racing in a safe environment with fellow new riders. You’ll be ready to get into racing in no time!

The focus of GetReady2Race is to develop essential skills needed in Zwift racing and build confidence for those who think they are “too slow to race”. We introduce people in a very accessible way to the joy of racing by offering skills sessions and training races in a safe environment, all guided by Zwift Yodas who’ve been training and racing on Zwift for several years.

One GetReady2Race event with two sessions: a skills session and a race session.

The skills session (first 20-25 mins) will focus on a particular skill needed in racing, e.g. how to start and the effort that is required, where / how to sprint, how to climb, how to close gaps, how to draft, etc. This part will be with the help of a zappy fence, so riders stay together and learn the skills instead of them taking off never to be seen again.

After the skills session the fence will be released so riders can have a short 20-25 mins race session with fellow new riders, all guided by our Zwift Yodas.

Every last Thursday of the month will be a GetReady2Race, where we will have a 40-45 minute race complete with mass start out of the starting pen (guided by our Zwift Yodas).
